One of the Most Amazing Moments in My Life!

My best friend Mary and I had the most amazing opportunity to fly to Nashville and spend one incredible evening with one of the most amazing people I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Seeing this man completes my dream of having met all four of the Monkees.
Michael Nesmith's performance at the Franklin Theater in Franklin Tennessee was so incredible that describing it is impossible.  But I think that although it is a cliche in this case it's true this picture speaks a thousand words.  Thank you Michael for being so amazingly talented and kind and for making two teenage girls dreams come true.

Here is the March tag that Tim Holtz designed.  I really love all the cool elements on this tag.  Painting the metal Ideology Foliage and Memo Pins to create flowers in the
grass.  Just love it!!  I haven't purchased the new Distress Paints yet and had to improvise by using Adirondack Paint Dabbers.  I think the flowers turned out great! I also do not have the Tim Holtz grass die so I used my Quickutz die to create the grass. Looking forward to April's tag and all the Timspiration!!  Happy Spring!!

Happy Easter!!

Happy Easter to all my friends.  This joyful time of year reminds me of years gone by hiding Easter Eggs for my son and daughter to find.  It was always a quest to be the egg hunting champion! The two of them hunted every year until my daughter went away to University (she was 17 and he was 21).  I miss the fun we would have (and sometimes tears if one of them wasn't the champion), giving hints as they would walk by us. Those were such happy times. So as I sit reminiscing I realized that it has been awhile since I created a Pysanka or Ukrainian Easter Egg. So I thought I would pull my dyes out and see how good they still are.  Dying eggs is always so much fun, but my unsteady hand proves I need to practice, practice, practice!
